Developed for a utilities client this series of health and safety illustrations for their updated health and safety guides. They needed to be both informative and accurate.
After the initial discussions with the client we confirmed the need for simple, easy to understand images that were accurate to the various health and safety situations.
We hashed out some initial styles and produced very quick sketches with the client to understand the requirements. This was quickly followed up with some quick scamps, to confirm the details of the illustrations.
While these scamps were been approved, a look and feel was developed that could be easily created and adapted to each illustration. Due to the speed of the project, the style also had to be suitable for a fellow illustrator to duplicate based my approved scamps.
Further development of these illustrations into animated instructional videos was also discussed, due to the success of the project, but ultimately, the budget wasn’t available.
